Ingredients

Serves : 5
  • 1 nos riped mango large sized chopped in bite sized chunks


  • 1/2 cups thick coconut milk(1 extract of coconut)


  • 1 cups second coconut milk


  • 2 tsp raw rice soaked and then grinded into fine paste.


  • 3 tbsp ghee


  • 200 gms sugar powdered with 3 cardamom

Directions

  • First in a fry pan add 1 tbsp ghee and lightly fry nuts and set them aside. In the same pan add remaining ghee and add chopped mangoes and fry them till they are soft.
  • Switch off the flame.
  • In a heavy bottomed vessel add 1 glass of second coconut milk and mix in the raw rice paste. Cook this till it forms a thick paste.
  • Now add sugar to the mangoes and again saute them in low heat. It will look like a jam now.
  • Slowly add in the thick & cooked raw rice and second milk paste and mix it well. Then add the remaining 2 coconut milk. Mix well let it come to a boil.
  • Now add first extract of coconut milk and warm it a little and switch off the gas. Add in fried nuts just before serving. Serve when it's still warm
